CD de Fries & D. Beck udgiver deres 2. cd, På Livets Vej. (Tove de Fries; violin og Malene D. Beck, klaver). Deres første Cd, Balance, indbragte dem 2 Danish Music Awards folk i 2004 (bedste debut og bedste instrumentalist; Tove). de Fries & D. Beck spiller dansk traditionel dansemusik/spillemandsmusik, fremført med hjerte, humor og uden dikkedarer. Musikken har duoen henholdsvis lært fra danske spillemænd, opsnuset fra gamle noder, en enkelt er selvkomponeret og så har de tilføjet et par slagere fra dengang farfar var ung… de Fries & D. Beck spiller til dans og koncerter i ind- og udland.. På Livets Vej udgives på TUTL records, udkommer maj 2009. Billeder fra CD-receptionen på Odense Folk Festival, kan ses på fotosiden. |

CD de Fries & D.Beck proudly present their second cd, På Livets Vej (Tove de Fries: violin, Malene D. Beck: piano). Their first cd Balance won two Danish Music Awards in 2004 (best folk debut and best folk instrumentalist). de Fries & D.Beck play traditional Danish dance music, and play it from the heart, with humour and no-frills-attached. The cd contains music learnt from traditional Danish musicians, tunes gleaned from old written sources collections, a couple of hits from when grandpa was young, and one original composition. de Fries & D. Beck play for dancers and perform concerts both at home and abroad. På Livets Vej is released on TUTL records, available May 2009. |
